What does the law say about the holding of General Assemblies online?
Since October 1, 2021, general meetings of companies have again been subject to the special company law specific to each corporate form concerning their online holding. Since 1 August 2022, the same has been true for the meetings and decision-making of administrative, supervisory and management bodies.
The dematerialized report must be time-stamped. This timestamp is only allowed thanks to the electronic signature, under the conditions provided by the European eIDAS regulation no. 910/2014 of 23 July 2014.

This module is also suitable for assemblies and meetings based on the principle: 1 man, 1 voice.

Whether it is an assembly in business or for an association, the process is generally the same. It is divided into 3 steps:
- Convocation of participants;
- Conduct of the meeting;
- Drafting of the minutes.

Proxies can be managed before the meeting is held. The proxy partner will receive the voting link, and will be able to vote in place of the absent partner. An electronic signature of the proxy giving the proxy will be placed on a proxy form automatically generated on Axiocap.
Before voting, each participant indicates whether they are present at the meeting, which is taking place in person or remotely, by signing the attendance sheet automatically generated by the Axiocap application.
