- The dematerialization of registers was introduced to simplify and secure the management of legal documents. Instead of the symbol and initialing carried out by the registry, our dematerialized registers are time-stamped, thus guaranteeing their legal validity.
What is timestamp ?
The timestamp records the exact date and time of each event, guaranteeing the validity of the records, in accordance with Decree No. 2019-1118 of October 31, 2019. This forgery-proof process reinforces the security and traceability of electronic records.
Legal value of time-stamped registers
Thanks to the timestamp, our dematerialized registers have the same legal value than paper records, replacing the quotation and the initials. They guarantee total traceability and immutability. The registers are time-stamped using an advanced electronic signature within the meaning of Article 26 of the eIDAS Regulation.

Frequently asked questions about legal registers
French decree No. 2019-1118 of October 31, 2019 created the legal framework for the dematerialized register. This decree updated the articles of the french Commercial Code relating to registers. These can now be kept “in electronic form.”
If the originals have been timestamp and are kept in a secure environment, you can delete them and switch to digital copies. Indeed, article 1379 states that “If the original survives, its presentation may still be required.” On the contrary, therefore, if it does not exist, it does not have to be presented.
